Enrique Romay was born in 1951 founded by Enrique Romay Escribá. At the beginning, the company was concerned with manually processing and marketing onions in a warehouse of barely 500 square metres, and within a few years it was doing the same with oranges and clementines. From the outset, the grandfather Enrique had the vision of having part of the business focused on serving the European market, travelling with the agents of the times to visit their customers abroad and exporting a large proportion of their products.

The founder and his wife Amparo had two children, Enrique and Amparo, who are now managers of the company, and the drivers of the growth and development of the business in all its dimensions: own production, expansion of the premises, staff qualifications, investment in technology, automatic processing, traceability.
