Our brown onion
is one of the varieties most used daily in the kitchen because of its quality and its strong but not strong flavour. The brown onion is one of the varieties that can be found throughout the year, but summer and early autumn are when its sweet flavour is at its height.
At Enrique Romay we grow brown onions in our own fields in Castilla La Mancha, the Valencia Region and Andalusia, and we can supply our customers 365 days of the year.

Our red onion
The red onion is one of the ideal varieties for eating raw. Its juicy, sweet and mild flavour is ideal for giving your dishes colour. They are also commonly included in many recipes due to their shininess and crunchy texture.
This variety of onion is grown in our own fields in Castilla La Mancha, the Valencia Region and Andalusia.

Our white onion
Unlike the brown onion, the white onion is a much sweeter variety and it has an intense flavour, which makes it ideal for caramelising and accompanying your garnishes. Its conservation is much less durable than other varieties, but it is, alongside the red onion, one of the most used for cooking raw, due to its delicate flavour.

Our sweet onion
The sweet onion is another of the varieties that is most used in our kitchens, and one of the ones we know best. It is ideal for cooking and for eating raw in salads. It interior is white and fleshy, which makes it exquisite.
This sweet onion, grown in our own fields in Castilla La Mancha, the Valencia Region and Andalusia, is part of our different varieties of onion, with which we supply our customers with product 365 days of the year.
